Sandpoint is located in the center of the northern panhandle of Idaho, 45 minutes from the city of Coeur d'Alene and 75 miles northeast of Spokane, WA. The Canadian border is 64 miles north of Sandpoint. The Montana border is 34 miles to the east and Washington is 29 miles to the west.
